Where did it go?

It is so hard to believe that Aiden's Kindergarten year is coming to a close. I am a little bummed that RES does not do a Kindergarten ceremony, but we will live without one. It seems like just yesterday I was getting him ready for his first day of school! He has had his struggles this year and things did not always come easy to him. He is still struggling with writing and reading but he has come leaps and bounds above where he was with the support he has recieved. There are still some challanges as far as behavior and interactions go, but he is such a kind, sweet, caring, laughable and lovable six year old. I am so proud of him and what he has accomplished this year. We are looking forward to his first grade year and the many adventures that being in school will bring for Aiden. We are also looking forward to a busy summer filled with lots of fun times, sleeping in and big homemade breakfast's complete with pancakes and waffles. I intend to soak in every moment and just enjoy this summer with the kids. I am realizing our lives are so quickly changing and flying by that I don't want to miss any moment of happiness!
